We started with excavation, retaining and drainage, then expanded into complete outdoor transformations because those early ground decisions control how the finished landscape performs. Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. SJB Civil holds NSW Fair Trading contractor licence 495519C and carries insurance for the work we undertake. Where a project requires engineering, certification or another specialist trade, we identify that requirement before construction proceeds.

Can you handle the whole outdoor project?

Yes. Complete packages can cover demolition, excavation, retaining, drainage, concrete preparation, paving, fencing, turf, gardens and finishing details. The exact scope is shaped around the site, priorities and budget.

Can you help plan the finished layout?

Yes. We can turn your goals, inspiration and budget into a practical construction scope. If formal engineering, surveying or specialist design is required, we explain what is needed and help coordinate the right professional.

Do you work in tight-access backyards?

Yes. Tight-access excavation is a core SJB Civil service. Send a photo and approximate access width so we can assess the suitable machine, removal method and likely limitations.

Do you work outside Lake Macquarie?
